Telephone Campaign 2024
We are looking for enthusiastic Magdalene students to take part as fundraising callers for the College's two-week telephone campaign.
Callers chat with alumni who are expecting a call from the College and discuss life at Magdalene during their time and in the present day.
Callers will be seeking support from alumni for our key fundraising priorities: the restoration project of the iconic Pepys Building, along with securing funds to deliver additional financial support to both undergraduate and postgraduate students, providing access to dedicated student welfare and mental health support, and securing the quality of teaching within College.
The call room is a very relaxed environment, there are plenty of sweets, snacks, fruit and games to keep everyone motivated. Callers are assigned alumni with whom they have a common interest, for example studied the same course or have similar society or sports connections.
