About the Chapel
Built in the 1470s, the Chapel embodies Magdalene's rich heritage, our patron saint's life is depicted in the East Window, while memorials commemorate missionaries, church leaders, teachers, and those who gave their lives in conflict.
All Members of the College community, whatever their religious beliefs, are welcome to attend all Chapel services. Members of the public are welcome at the Sunday morning and evening services and at Choral Evensong on Thursdays.
The College Chaplain, Rev'd Nick Widdows, is available to talk to any member of the College community on any matter, personal, practical, or spiritual. Nick is happy to hear Members who would like to assist by reading lessons, leading prayers, or serving as a Chapel Officer.
The Magdalene College Choir sing Choral Evensong twice a week in Chapel as well as at prestigious College events and special occasions. The choir go on tour every summer and regularly sing in cathedrals, and for services and events across the UK.

Marrying at Magdalene
Magdalene is a stunning location for a wedding, with both ancient buildings and modern facilities. A professional team is here to help with all aspects of planning the wedding and organising the day itself. The College is licensed for Civil Ceremonies and has excellent facilities for receptions.
