Join us for a Concert in thanksgiving for the life of Emeritus Fellow and former Pepys Librarian, Dr Richard Luckett (1945-2020).

At Richard's own request, the music will be from the Seventeenth Century. Musicians include Margaret Faultless, William Hunt, Elizabeth Kenny, Rachel Stroud, Jonathan Hellyer-Jones, Edward Higginbottom, Rosalind Dobson and the Magdalene Choir under the direction of James Potter.

Before the concert, The Robert Cripps Gallery will be open from 1 pm with a display of Calligraphy and Letter-Cutting by Will Carter and Ronald Hyam; and after the Concert, the Pepys Library will be open with an exhibition of musical manuscripts and books relating to Purcell and his contemporaries. The Pepys Library is on the first floor of a historic building and we regret that we cannot offer access by lift at the present time.

Refreshments will be served after the concert in Second Court (indoors if inclement weather).
