Click and Collect
The ‘Click and Collect’ service is for current Magdalene students and has two purposes:
- Any student can use it to ask staff to retrieve items with the restricted ‘Reserve stock’ location.
- Students who have disclosed a Student Support Document to the Library can use click and collect for any item in the New Library collections.
Submitting a request
During staff hours item(s) will be fetched and put on loan to you. You will receive a confirmation email when your item(s) are ready to collect. All items will be re-shelved to make them available to others if they have not been collected within one week.
Please check in iDiscover that the item you want has the ‘Item in place’ status. If it is on loan then please use the request system via iDiscover (term time only) instead.
If the Library doesn’t have a copy of the item at all you can use our recommendation form instead.
