Official Fellows

The Governing Body of the College is chaired by the Master and comprises the Official Fellows.

The vast majority of Official Fellows are working academics, balancing teaching and research in both, University faculties and the College. Some Fellows, like the Senior Bursar, Director of Development, and Dean of Chapel, have full-time roles at Magdalene, focused on the smooth operation of the College and community.

The Governing Body is responsible for the College’s governance, finances, and policies. As a Registered Charity, the Official Fellows have legal responsibilities as Charity Trustees.
