Professor Walid Khaled is a University Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacology. He is Director of Studies in Natural Sciences (Biological) at Magdalene.

Professor Walid Khaled specialises in cancer biology. His research is especially concerned with looking for ways to treat breast and lung cancer.

Professor Khaled completed his PhD in the Department of Pathology at the University of Cambridge in 2007 and was elected to a Junior Research Fellowship of King's College the following year. In 2009 he became a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, and was appointed to a University Lectureship in the Department of Pharmacology in 2013.

He became an Official Fellow of Magdalene in 2014, and received a Cancer Research UK Career Establishment Award in the same year.
