Old Library Information for Researchers

Researchers must arrange access in advance to consult Old Library collections.

Researchers interested in using the Old Library’s collections must contact us in advance, providing details of their academic background and the specific materials they wish to consult. Access is granted on a case-by-case basis to ensure the preservation of our historic holdings.

Appointments are available Monday to Friday from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and  2:00 pm – 5:00 pm, subject to seasonal closures. Research sessions are typically held in the Pepys Library.
