Mr Jonathan Hellyer Jones is the former Precentor, College Organist and Director of College Music.

Since graduating in Music at St John’s College in 1973, Jonathan Hellyer Jones taught at various institutions in Cambridge and at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Subjects included, piano, harpsichord and organ instrumental teaching, as well as theory, O-level, A-level and degree classes. For many years he taught classes in the Music Faculty for 1st and 2nd year undergraduates, followed by supervising all three years of students in several colleges.
