University of Cambridge Application Support Webinars
Thinking of applying to the University of Cambridge? Watch our application support webinars for guidance on admissions assessments, what to expect during the application process, and how best to prepare.
Applying to the University of Cambridge involves more than submitting an application. Many courses require applicants to complete an admissions assessment as part of the application process. These assessments help Colleges and departments identify students with the skills, knowledge, and academic potential to succeed on their chosen course.
To support prospective applicants, Magdalene College Schools Liaison Officer Evie has delivered two webinars explaining how admissions assessments work, what applicants can expect, and how they can prepare effectively.
Pre-Registered Admissions Assessment Webinar
This webinar is aimed at students considering an application to Cambridge for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Law, Mathematics, Medicine, Natural Sciences (Biological), Natural Sciences (Physical), or Veterinary Medicine.
The session provides guidance on admissions assessments used by these courses, including the Engineering and Science Admissions Test (ESAT), National Admissions Test for Law (LNAT), Test of Mathematics for University Admission (TMUA), and University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT). Applicants can learn more about what to expect and how best to prepare.
College-Registered Admissions Assessment Webinar
This webinar provides an overview of the University of Cambridge's College-registered admissions assessments. Evie explains which applicants may be required to take an assessment, how the process works, and what applicants can expect from the College-registered admissions assessments.
You do not need to register in advance for College-registered assessments and will only be required to take them if invited to interview.
Further information about assessments, interviews and written work can be found on the Magdalene College admissions assessments guidance page.
