Season’s Greetings from all at Magdalene

Dear Members and Friends of Magdalene,

As the year draws to a close, we are all getting ready to celebrate Christmas here at Magdalene. Advent carols in the chapel, followed by our popular London Carol Concert in the beautiful setting of Holy Trinity Sloane Square, gave the season a bright start and offered everyone the chance to enjoy the excellent College choir at its best.

It has been a busy term, and I would like to thank every member of our College community for all they have done to help make it a success. Restoration work on the Pepys Building is proceeding apace, and by next academic year we hope it will once again provide the backdrop for our matriculation photograph. This year’s intake was pictured in front of the New Library which remains very popular with all our students. We are, as always, very grateful to the many alumni and friends whose generosity has made possible so much of what we do here in College.

Magdalene College Choir: E'en So, Lord Jesus Quickly Come

We wish Magdalene Members worldwide a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May this festive season be filled with happiness as you celebrate with loved ones.

The Alumni and Development Office will be closed from 5.00 pm on Tuesday 23 December 2025 and will reopen at 9.00 am on Monday 5 January 2026.
