Members of the College community are invited to attend Magdalene's Act of Remembrance, which will take place in the College Chapel on Remembrance Sunday, 8 November, at 6.00 pm.

We gather to remember the conflicts of the past and the present, to mourn all those whose lives have been given and taken away through war, and to pray for peace. The Last Post will be sounded, followed by a period of shared silence. Candles will be lit at the College's First and Second World War Memorials in remembrance of those whose names are commemorated there.

At Choral Evensong, which follows on from the Act of Remembrance, the Choir will sing Ireland's Greater Love. The sermon will be delivered by the Master of Magdalene, Sir Christopher Greenwood.

For those in College on Armistice Day, 11 November, two minutes’ silence will be kept in the Chapel at 11 am and all are welcome.
