Chef de Partie
Salary: £33,157 per annum
Full Time: 40 hours per week
Magdalene College is looking for an experienced Chef to work as a Chef de Partie in our team of catering staff. The catering team are responsible for the production of food for students, Fellows, staff and guests, and the Chef de Parties are responsible for initiating and overseeing the production of all meals during the shift, ensuring a high standard of customer service.
We would like to hear from candidates with previous experience in a Demi or Chef De Partie role, preferably within a formal or fine dining environment who have excellent cooking skills, the ability to multitask and the ability to work under pressure.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week and attracts a highly competitive salary of £33,157 p.a. along with excellent benefits including:

Commis Chef
Salary: £29,427 per annum
Full Time: 40 hours per week
Magdalene College is looking for a Commis Chef to join our team of catering staff. The catering team are responsible for the production of food for students, Fellows, staff and guests. The Commis Chef will assist with the preparation, cooking and serving of food.
We would like to hear from candidates with previous experience in a Commis Chef role or undertaking training to gain a recognised qualification.

Housekeeping Assistant
Salary: £27,066 per annum
Full Time: 40 hours per week
Magdalene College is seeking to appoint a Housekeeping Assistant to assist in maintaining a good standard of cleanliness and order in public rooms and central areas of the College, and to carry out a wide range of supportive duties as instructed. We are looking for a reliable and conscientious person who is enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team.
We would like to hear from candidates with previous experience of cleaning, knowledge of working within a Cambridge College is desirable but not essential.
This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week, the hours are mainly Monday to Friday but some weekend work, on a rota will be required. The salary for this role is £27,066 p.a. along with excellent benefits including:
