Summer Study and Travel Awards Competition
Summer Study and Travel Awards Competition
The Senior Tutor invites applications from students of the College for the following awards which may be awarded to eligible candidates of sufficient merit.
Applicants need to ensure that their application and supporting reference(s) are submitted by noon on the final day of Lent Full Term. Further details are enclosed, and students are advised to carefully follow all instructions provided.
The travel awards support a range of activities during the Summer Research Period (1 July ‑ 30 September).
Students will be informed of the outcome of their application by the start of the Easter Full Term.
Eligibility
Certain of these awards have specific criteria for eligibility but a general College criterion which applies to all awards is that eligibility is restricted to those students who will be returning into residence for the academic year following the summer research vacation for which the grant is awarded. Students in their final year of study will not be eligible to apply.
Clinical Medics and Vets in the fourth year of study or above are regarded as postgraduates for this competition and therefore should only apply for the relevant awards.
