All Offer-holders
We require all offer-holders to provide the following documents:
Upload Passport – by 23 April 2026
Please upload a PDF of the photo page of your passport, showing your name, nationality and date of birth, via the Applicant Documents Upload Form. If you have dual nationality, please include both passports. If you are a home fees student and do not have a passport, please send us another form of Photo ID (e.g. driving licence).
Upload Financial Documents – by 23 April 2026
We will send you a letter about finances in February, and we will require you to send us some information about how you are going to fund your studies in Cambridge.
Home Fees Students
Please complete the Financial Undertaking Form – Home Fees and upload it via the Applicant Documents Upload Form.
If you are applying for Student Finance, please note that you must choose Magdalene College – University of Cambridge. Do not select University of Cambridge as this is for postgraduates only. You will then be able to select your course.
Once your application for a loan has been assessed, you need to send us your University or College Payment Advice (England, Wales, N Ireland) or your SAAS Award Notice (Scotland). The deadline for this is 11 June 2026, so please apply as soon as possible. An example UCPA is available at the bottom of the page.
Overseas Fees Students
Please complete the Financial Undertaking Form – Overseas Fees and upload it via the Applicant Documents Upload Form.
You must provide evidence that you have the funds available for the entirety of your course.
In order to do this, you need to send us the following documents:
- Letter(s) from your source of funding/sponsor, confirming that they are willing and able to meet all your expenses during your entire time at Magdalene.
- Bank statement(s) of account of funds available (and the type of funds if not held in cash, e.g. shares, bonds, property, etc.) An example of a bank statement is available at the bottom of the page.
- Letter(s) from financial organisations, e.g. banks or private wealth managers, on headed notepaper, signed and stamped, officially certifying that the funds are currently held and that the account has operated normally in the past year.
Upload Exam Certificates – by 23 April 2026
As stated in your offer letter, you need to provide us with copies of your examination certificates relating to any already-completed examinations listed in your UCAS application, so that we can verify your results. Please follow the instructions below:
- Log in to your UCAS account and remind yourself which qualifications you listed as ‘already taken’ on your application (if you have completed any further qualifications since then, please also include these).
- Find any exam certificates showing the qualifications and grades you listed.
- Create a single PDF file containing all the certificates.
- Name your PDF file as follows: Lastname_Firstname_UCAS ID_Exam Certificates (e.g. BOND_James_1234567890_Exam Certificates).
- Upload your file via the Applicant Documents Upload Form.

Support for Students with Disabilities
The College and the University work together to offer the maximum possible support to all disabled students. Now that you have received an offer (whether conditional or unconditional), we would like to give you a further opportunity to let us know if you have a disability and if you will require any support or advice if you come up to Cambridge.
If you would like to disclose a disability (that you didn’t mention on your application), you can complete the Accessibility and Disability Services: Tell us about your disability form.
If you already mentioned your disability on your UCAS application, you don’t need to complete the form.
STEP Support Programme
The University of Cambridge offers a free online STEP Support Programme to help university applicants develop their advanced mathematical problem-solving skills and prepare for STEP mathematics exams. All offer-holders who have a STEP condition are advised to use these resources.
Financial Support
Information about financial support for both home and overseas students can be found on our Financial Support pages.
Exam Results
If you are taking A-levels, STEP, Scottish Advanced Highers, Irish Leaving Certificate, or the IB Diploma, we should get your results automatically (IB students – make sure you have given permission to the IBO for your scores to be released).
If you are taking Advanced Placement exams and/or SATs, please authorise the College Board to share your results with Cambridge, and tell us when you have received them so we can check online.
If you are taking another qualification (e.g. French Baccalaureate, HKDSE, German Abitur), you will need to send us your scores. Please scan a copy of your official certificate of results, stamped and signed by your school, and upload it as a PDF document via the Applicant Documents Upload Form.
