Honorary Fellow Nominated for Cambridge Honorary Degree
The College warmly congratulates Dame Rachel Whiteread DBE, Honorary Fellow, on her nomination for an Honorary Degree by the University of Cambridge.
The University of Cambridge has announced eight nominees who have each made remarkable contributions in their fields, and Dame Rachel is included for her influential work as an artist. She became the first woman to win the Turner Prize in 1993, and her work continues to shape contemporary sculpture with a presence recognised globally.
We extend our warm congratulations on this recognition.
