College Nurse
Part Time: 15 hours per week (during term time)
£13,459.00 p.a. (£45,041 full time equivalent)
The College seeks to appoint a Registered General Nurse (RGN) who holds current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), has a minimum of five years’ post-registration experience, and demonstrates ongoing compliance with NMC registration requirements, including active participation in the revalidation process.
Excellent knowledge of physical illness, psychological and emotional wellbeing, together with experience in managing minor illnesses and injuries, is essential. The College Nurse works independently and must be able to build trust and confidence while exercising discretion and sound professional judgement.
The position is part time, 15 hours a week during term time. The annual salary for 15 working hours per week (495 hours annually) plus 71 hours of annual leave is £13,459.00, spine point 51 on the College pay scale (£45,041.00 full-time equivalent). Payment will be made in 12 equal monthly instalments.

Candidate Information Pack
Schools Liaison Officer - 3 Years Fixed Term
Full time: 36.25 hours per week
£30,116.00 p.a
The College is looking to appoint a Schools Liaison Officer (SLO) to provide liaison with schools and colleges, particularly in our link areas of Merseyside, North Wales and the Isle of Man, for which Magdalene is responsible. The SLO will also coordinate many of the other admissions activities of the College, such as school visits, residential courses and summer schools.
Responsibilities will include assisting the Admissions Tutors with certain administrative duties connected to the running of interviews and selection during the Cambridge admissions process. In addition, the role is responsible for communicating information of outreach activities through the College website, weekly newsletter, social media and other means as appropriate.
Regular travel, particularly to schools and colleges in Merseyside, North Wales and the Isle of Man, is required. The post holder should have: an undergraduate honours degree; knowledge of, or be prepared to develop, quickly, knowledge of the courses offered, teaching methods used, and the nature of student life within the University of Cambridge and Magdalene College in particular; knowledge of, and commitment to recruitment and widening participation to HE in the UK and an awareness and understanding of the issues that affect recruitment, especially of non-traditional entrants, to Cambridge.
The position is full-time on a 3-year fixed term contract, 36.25 hours a week, with a salary of £30,116.00 and excellent benefits including:
