College-registered Assessments
For courses with a College-registered assessment, you will only need to complete this if you receive an invitation for an interview and you will not need to register separately for it. If selected, we will automatically arrange your assessment and share the details with you along with your interview invitation. Learn more on the Admissions Assessments page.
Extenuating Circumstances
If you wish to inform us of any extenuating circumstances, please have your school or college referee (or doctor/social worker) fill out an Extenuating Circumstances Form (ECF) on your behalf. The submission deadline is tbc October. More information can be found on our Extenuating Circumstances page.

Some courses require submitting written work as part of your application. Please check your course requirements to see if you need to submit written work. If required, submit your written work to the Academic Office via the Academic Documents Upload Form by tbc November.
Support for Applicants with Disabilities
We are committed to providing appropriate adjustments for applicants with disabilities. If you have any disability, neurodiverse condition, mental health condition or long-term health condition we will make appropriate adjustments if you are invited for interview. We also wish to ensure that your interviewers are aware of any information that may be relevant in the context of your interview, Cambridge College registered written assessment or pre-interview tasks.
All applicants will be sent information related to disabilities and adjustments at interview in late October. It is important that you read this guidance. Applicants who wish to submit an Interview Adjustment Form to us can do so via their school. You must complete the Request for Contact Details Form by tbc October. Your school contact will then receive a request to submit the Interview Adjustment Form on your behalf. This must be submitted to us by tbc November, 6pm (UK time).

Interview Invitations
Interview format for the 2025-26 admissions round will be published late May. If you are selected for an interview, you will be notified by mid-late November. Detailed information about interview timings and arrangements will be provided at that time. Most interviews will occur in December, though some subjects may conduct interviews in early January.
Given the complexity of scheduling, please inform us as soon as possible if you have strong reasons for not being able to attend on specific days (such as medical appointments or exams). While we strive to accommodate your needs, we cannot reschedule for reasons such as school performances.
Please see our page on Interviews for more information.
If You Are Not Selected for an Interview
Candidates who are not invited for an interview will receive notification by mid-November.
After Your Interviews
Following your interviews, you will not hear from us until the New Year. If you are not offered a place at Magdalene but your application is strong, you may be considered for the Winter Pool and invited by another College for a further interview in January.
All applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application by the end of January 2026. If you have not received an update by 31 January, please contact the Academic Office.
