Find out all about the 2017 Magdalene College Open Days and events for potential applicants.
Magdalene holds Open Days throughout the year to help prospective applicants get a feel for studying at Cambridge. Open Days include a tour of the College, a chance to meet some of the Fellows and undergraduates.
The College will be open for students interested in studying all subjects offered at Cambridge.
Magdalene is open on the 6 and 7 July in conjunction with the Cambridge Open Days.
The College is open for visitors, during exams and at other times the College may be closed to visitors.
It is recommended that prospective applicants who would like to visit contact the Admissions Office who may be able to make specific arrangements, such as meeting with a Director of Studies or an Admissions Tutor or a tour of the College with a Magdalene student.
Please contact the the Admissions Office by email (admi...@magd.cam.ac.uk) or phone or (01223 332135).
Magdalene frequently hosts visiting school groups, with priority to schools in our Merseyside and Wales link areas. We also welcome visits from schools outside our link areas when we can.
A visit to Cambridge can be a very effective way of discovering what it is like to study at the University of Cambridge.
A visit to Magdalene gives students the opportunity to look around a College, learn about the application process from admissions staff and, most importantly, meet Cambridge students to talk about what it's like to study here.
We can usually offer lunch, a presentation on applying to Cambridge, a tour of the College and Q&A with undergraduates.
It is not possible to offer overnight accommodation to school groups, except during the University Open Days in July.
Travel fund contributions are available fo schools in our link areas who have little or no tradition of students applying to Cambridge. To find out more, please contact the Access Officer at acc...@magd.cam.ac.uk.
