Magdalene frequently hosts visiting school groups, with priority to schools in our Merseyside and Wales link areas. We also welcome visits from schools outside our link areas when we can.
A visit to Cambridge can be a very effective way of discovering what it is like to study at the University of Cambridge.
A visit to Magdalene gives students the opportunity to look around a College, learn about the application process from admissions staff and, most importantly, meet Cambridge students to talk about what it's like to study here.
We can usually offer lunch, a presentation on applying to Cambridge, a tour of the College and Q&A with undergraduates.
It is not possible to offer overnight accommodation to school groups, except during the University Open Days in July.
Travel fund contributions are available fo schools in our link areas who have little or no tradition of students applying to Cambridge. To find out more, please contact the Access Officer at acc...@magd.cam.ac.uk.
