Sir Andrew Ritchie KC

Sir Andrew Ritchie KC is the College Advocate and a Fellow Commoner of Magdalene. He is the Head of Chambers at 9 Gough Square, London.

Andrew practices in tort law involving personal injury and clinical negligence. His cases include Corr v IBC (House of Lords) and Phillips v Rafiq & MIB (Court of Appeal). 

Andrew represented the family of Carlos Estrada during the InAmenas Algerian terrorist atrocity Inquest in 2015 and represented the families of 24 of the deceased at the inquest arising from the Tunisian beach murders in 2017. Andrew is representing the families of the deceased in the Croydon Tram crash Inquest.

Andrew is an arbitrator and the creator of PIcARBS, the nationwide Personal Injuries Claim Arbitration Service.
