The Revd Dr Robert MacSwain
The Associate Professor of Theology at the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, USA, he is currently on a research leave funded by the Templeton Religion Trust, exploring the idea of holy lives as evidence for God.
He has lived in the UK on three separate occasions: as a master’s student at Edinburgh (1995–96), a research assistant in London (2000–01), and a PhD student at both Durham and St Andrews (2004–10). While in Durham he served as the Ramsey Fellow and Chaplain of St Chad’s College, and later co-edited The Cambridge Companion to C. S. Lewis (2010). He is especially pleased to be affiliated with the College where Archbishop Ramsey was a student and Lewis was a Fellow.
