Coronavirus (COVID-19) update
The Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is a cause of great concern for the College, our students, staff, Fellows and Members. We have set up this page to signpost people to the most relevant information.
As of noon on Tuesday 17 March, there are no confirmed cases in Magdalene. The situation is rapidly changing, but we are working closely with our Collegiate and University colleagues and we are following UK Government guidance closely.
The health, welfare and safety of all College students, staff and Fellows is our top priority. We are a College community known to care for each other and so we are asking everyone to refrain from shaking hands and to follow all NHS advice regarding hand-washing and good hygiene practices. We have increased our cleaning regime in College and we are asking everyone to only come into College if you feel fully well and have none of the risk factors listed by Public Health England. If you feel ill during or after your visit, please let us know as soon as possible by calling or emailing our Porters on +44 (0)1223 32100 or porters@magd.cam.ac.uk.
The College is regretfully closed to all visitors including non-resident Members.
College students, staff and Fellows
We have set up dedicated Coronavirus (COVID-19) Student Bulletins for Students, Staff and Fellows with specific guidance. We will update this guidance as and when necessary and we are in touch with the different groups in College to ensure good communications remain at the heart of trying to deal with this unexpected situation. We will try to limit email communications to essential ones, so please read the emails sent to you.

Alumni Events, Conference Events and Guest Room Bookings
The College has regretfully decided to cancel all planned alumni events until the end of the academic term; all conference events have been cancelled and all future guest room bookings have been suspended until further notice.
