Wine Tasting with Dr Alex Thom

Join Dr Alex Thom, University Lecturer in Theoretical Chemistry and keen oenologist, for a virtual wine tasting to celebrate Samuel Pepys’ birthday (possibly Magdalene’s most famous oenophile!).

In partnership with Cambridge Wine Merchants, join Dr Thom for a live wine tasting via Zoom. Attendees will receive six full-size bottles of wine from a specially selected case (three reds, two whites, and one fortified) to taste and compare.

Tickets for this event are £75.00 and includes a six bottle case of wine, delivery, and access to the online tasting event. Members are of course welcome to be joined at the event by members of their household, but registrations are limited to one device (i.e. laptop or tablet) per ticket to ensure that the Zoom meeting isn't too crowded. Places will be limited so we can have good engagement and participation from everyone involved.
