Fourth-year Information and Computer Engineering student
Areeg is entering her fourth year studying Information and Computer Engineering at Trinity College. She is an international student from Kenya, with Egyptian roots. She is a co-founder of the Womxn in Engineering Society and was on the May Week Alternative committee for 3 years, since its founding.
Tsemaye Uwejamomere
Third-year Engineering student
Hi, my name is Tse and I am going into my third year studying engineering at St Catharine's College. I am a Target Oxbridge alumna and the current Diversity Officer for the Engineering Society. I am quite interested in sustainable development engineering and how engineering can be used to create a more equalised society especially for the global south and am the president of a Cambridge society called ITIC that does just that. Outside of engineering, I am quite involved in the African Carribean Society and for me it's a home away for home where I can just chill and enjoy the good vibes.
