Cambridge Open Days 2021: Parents Evening for potential applicants of Black African and Caribbean heritage
This event is open to parents or guardians supporting an applicant who identifies as Black African and Caribbean, or as having Black African and Caribbean heritage.
The session will include a short presentation, with most of the time dedicated to answering your questions and concerns. Attendees will be able to ask their questions live, and we’ll be addressing lots of frequently asked questions too, including:
- How does the application process for Cambridge differ to other universities?
- What can students be doing now to support their application?
- What pastoral, financial and academic support is available for students?
The event will be chaired by Professor Franklin Aigbirhio, supported by the Schools Liaison Officer and the Admissions Tutor for Access.
This session is aimed at parents and guardians supporting an application, but may be useful for current students or teachers.
The event will take place over Zoom webinar. This is a free event, but requires registration.
