Please read and familiarise yourself with the following COVID-19 guidance.
What to do if you feel ill or have symptoms
If you have symptoms of COVID-19 however mild, self-isolate for at least 10 days from when your symptoms started. You should arrange to have a test to see if you have COVID-19. Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital. Please Inform the Porters Lodge immediately.
When moving around College you must wear a face covering in enclosed or communal areas even outdoors. Suitable face coverings should cover your nose and mouth, fit securely against the side of the face and be secured with ties or ear-loops.
Hand washing and hygiene are the mainstays of limiting outbreaks, you should wash your hands frequently and for at least 20 seconds. Soap and water are perfectly adequate, when this is not practical, using hand gel with at least 70% alcohol is an alternative.
To reduce the risk of catching or spreading coronavirus, try to keep at least 2 metres away from people you do not live with. Social distancing is essential to stop the spread of the virus, as it is more likely to spread when people are close together.
Self Isolation and Quarantine Arrangements
If you or someone in your College household develop symptoms which may be COVID-19 or have had a positive COVID-19 test result, everyone in your College household must self-isolate immediately. You must alert the Porters’ Lodge straight away so that they can inform the College Nurse and/or your Tuto...
Healthcare and the College Nurse
The College Nurse is available for both undergraduates and postgraduates to help with a wide variety of health and welfare needs. If you have COVID-19 symptoms or have tested positive the College Nurse will be offering video consultation/phone calls instead of face-to-face appointments.
Housekeeping statement is based upon UKGOV guidelines for working safely during COVID-19. The housekeeping statement lists the intended housekeeping procedures for cleaning the College for the Michaelmas Term 2020 including information on student rooms, supervision rooms and public spaces.
