Wireless access
Eduroam wifi is available throughout the Library. Eduroam is part of a global academic wireless provision. Eduroam is available in many Colleges and Departments as well as the majority of Cambridge city centre.
Please see the University Information Services (UIS) instructions on 'How to set up and use the University of Cambridge Wireless Services via eduroam'.
You can access the University's free Wi-Fi network by selecting UniOfCam and logging in with your password for Raven each time you connect to an access point. However, if you connect using eduroam, you'll only need to enter your password once and you'll stay connected to the network around Cambridge and in thousands of participating locations in 70 countries worldwide.
Photocopier
The library photocopier is located in the Middle Room in Left Cloister. Use of the photocopier requires your College computer CRSID and password. Your University card can be associated with this to make access much easier. There are instructions on the machine. Charges are automatically added to your College bill. This machine is managed by the Computer Office, to whom all queries should be addressed, including access and requests for paper.
Computers
Three computers are located in the Brooke Gallery, and two in the Middle Room in Left Cloister, offering access to the College’s local area network. A printer and a scanner are available in the Gallery. These are maintained by the Computer Office, to whom queries and requests for paper for the printer should be addressed.
Scanner
The library has an overhead scanner with ‘ScanSnap’ software which takes a lot of the work out of scanning and which can automatically collate your scans. This is available in Right Cloister, just inside the Brooke Gallery. The photocopier can also scan multiple pages to a USB stick.
Computer Office Contact
