Dr Hadida

Joint Director of Studies in Management Studies and University Lecturer in Strategy

Background

Dr Allègre L. Hadida joined the Judge Institute of Management as a University Lecturer in Strategy in September 2000 and Magdalene College as a Fellow in October 2003. She has a Master’s in Management/Diplôme Grande Ecole from EAP, a DEA (Higher Degree by Research) from University Paris X Nanterre and a PhD in Strategic Management from HEC in Paris. She has been a Visiting Professor in Strategy and Arts and Cultural Management at HEC in Paris since 2003 and was a Visiting Scholar at the Anderson School of Management, UCLA in 1998.

Research

Dr Hadida’s research interests focus on the resource-based view(s) of strategy, on applications of new institutional economics to strategy and on arts and cultural management, in particular in the entertainment industry. Dr. Hadida was a finalist in the HEC Foundation Best Doctoral Dissertation Award in September 2004. She was also awarded the Special Jury Prize and Honorary Distinction at the FNEGE Best Doctoral Dissertation Award in June 2004 and the Second Prize at the AIMS Best Doctoral Dissertation Award in April 2004 for the quality of her doctoral research titled: “Strategic Assets, Institutional Factors and Performance: An Application of the Resource-Based View and New Institutional Economics to Feature Film Projects in France and the United States (1988-1997)”. Dr Hadida is also on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Strategic Management Education.
