How to Apply

Applicants for postgraduate study must first be accepted by a Department or Faculty in the University before being considered for membership of a College.

For most postgraduate courses, applications are made in the first instance through the central Postgraduate Admissions Office (PAO), using the Applicant Portal.

For the MBA, Executive MBA, and Master of Finance (MFin) courses, however, you should apply direct to the Cambridge Judge Business School.

And applications for the PGCE teacher training courses are made through UCAS. See the website of the Faculty of Education for information.

All students are also required to be a member of one of the University's 31 Colleges.

As part of your application, you will be asked if wish to specify a first-choice College. If you designate Magdalene as your preferred College, then once you have been accepted onto the course by the relevant Faculty or Department, PAO will pass your application to us for consideration.
