FESTIVAL OF THE IMAGE 2011-2012

The third Magdalene Triennial Festival Opens on Thursday 20th October 2011 and runs until the end of March 2012. The theme of the exciting, interdisciplinary programme this year is THE IMAGE.

All events are open to all, and members of the general public are warmly welcomed.

All events (except the Magdalene Festival/Fitzwilliam Museum Promenade Concert) take place in the Sir Humphrey Cripps Theatre, Cripps Court, Magdalene College, Cambridge. The entrance is on Chesterton Road.

All events are free of charge (except the symposium on 21st January 2012, which requires advance registration and for which there is a small fee)

Refreshments are served after most events, with a chance to meet the speakers.

Seats (unnumbered) for any event can be reserved in advance by emailing litfest@magd.cam.ac.uk, if a postal address is supplied. Places at events can also be obtained “on the door” subject to availability (except for the symposium on 21st January, which must be pre-booked).

We regret that there is no parking available at the venue, but it is near to car parks and to on-street pay and display parking; and it is convenient for public transport.

Visitors with disabilities are invited to contact us in advance if they wish to book one of the limited disabled parking area or if there are other arrangements we can make to facilitate their visit.
