MA Day

MA Day 2019 will be held on Saturday 18 May 2019.

Members who matriculated in October 2012 and graduated with the BA degree prior to December 2016 will be eligible to receive their MA either in person or in absence.

Invitations to those newly eligible have been sent out via email. If you became eligible to receive your MA Degree in a previous year, you will not receive an automatic invitation, you will need to complete the relevant application form and submit it once they are available on these pages in 2019. 

If you wish to receive another degree in addition to your MA on MA Day (i.e MB or MPhil), please make sure that you state this clearly on your application form as this is not an automatic process.

Ceremony and Garden Party

Graduating Members can bring up to 2 guests to the ceremony. There will be a Garden Party in College after the ceremony for graduating Members and their guests.

Cost

There is a £30.00 payment for receiving an MA degree.

Payment can be made by cheque made payable to Magdalene College or by BACS. BACS payments should be made to Magdalene College a/c 72745060, sort code 30-64-42, using your name and ‘degree’ for the reference (bank charges must be paid by the sender).

Applications

Applications are now closed.

Eligible Members can apply to graduate on MA Day or not on MA Day.

Applications and payment must be received before the cut-off date of 26 April 2019.
