We are delighted that human rights lawyer and Nelson Mandela’s defence attorney at the 1963-64 Rivonia Trial, Lord Joel Joffe, will be giving a talk on the trial that changed South Africa where Mandela was convicted and given a life sentence.
‘The Rivonia Trial – Transformed into a trial of the Apartheid Government by Nelson Mandela and his co-accused who were on trial for their lives’.
The talk is free to attend at Magdalene College, Sir Humphrey Cripps Auditorium, Cripps Court. All are welcome. The talk will be followed by a drinks reception.
