Magdalene in America (MAm) connects alumni across the United States and Canada, fostering a strong network of Members through social and professional events. Whether you are a long-time resident or new to North America, MAm provides opportunities to engage with fellow Magdalene graduates and stay connected with the College.

Events Across North America

MAm has hosted gatherings in cities including New York, Toronto, San Francisco, Washington DC, Boston, Seattle, and Chicago, thanks to the generosity of alumni who help organise and host events. The Magdalene New York Dinner has been running for over 30 years and is the longest-running Cambridge College alumni event in the US. Our programme continues to grow, featuring dinners, receptions, and lectures that bring Members together in a welcoming and engaging setting.

Magdalene College Foundation (MCF)

Established in 2013 by supporters in the United States, the Magdalene College Foundation (MCF) plays a vital role in funding educational opportunities at Magdalene. Its primary goal is to encourage philanthropy among US-based alumni and friends, ensuring that the College continues to thrive.

As a registered US non-profit, MCF is tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Code. Donations made to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. An independent Board of Directors oversees the Foundation, ensuring that all contributions are used effectively to support the College and its students.
