Visiting the College

Visits by Prospective Candidates

Magdalene welcomes visits from prospective applicants.

We hold a number of Open Days. Details are available from the Admissions Office or here. Open Days include tours of the College, a chance to meet some of the Fellows and undergraduates, and, in some cases, an opportunity to stay overnight in College.

Visits at other times can be made by individuals or school/college groups by prior appointment. The Admissions Tutor is sometimes available to see prospective candidates; make an appointment through the admissions office. Tours of the College can also be arranged for those interested.

Please telephone or e-mail the Admissions Office to check before making arrangements to visit.

Magdalene 'Access to Cambridge' Initiative in North Wales & Merseyside

The College has funds available to facilitate visits to the College during term time by teachers from schools with little or no tradition of sending candidates to Cambridge. Travel expenses may be refunded and/or financial assistance given to schools for the cost of cover during a teacher's absence. To be eligible, schools must be in one of our target areas: North Wales, Merseyside or the North West . To find out more, please contact the Admissions Tutor.
